Cranberry Relish Jello Salad

Cranberry Relish Jello Salad

1 1/4 c. water
1 6oz. pack of strawberry Jello
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
1 16 oz. bag fresh cranberries
1 unpeeled orange, quartered and seeded
1 granny smith apple, seeded, cored and chopped
1 c. chopped celery

In saucepan, bring 1 cup water to boil. Remove from heat. Add Jello and sugar. Stir until dissolved.
Add lemon juice and remaining water.
Refrigerate Jello mixture while you prepare the rest.

Chop the cranberries with the orange in small amounts in a blender or food processor.
Place in bowl and stir in the apple pieces, celery and nuts.
Combine with Jello mixture.
Chill until set.
