Salted Nut Roll Bars
1 chocolate cake mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup margarine, softened
2 cup miniature marshmallows
2 cups salted peanuts
For the topping:
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/2 stick margarine, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 10-ounce package butterscotch chips or peanut butter chips
Mix together cake mix, eggs and softened margarine. With floured hands, press into jelly roll pan, spread evenly. Bake for 13 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and spread 2 cups miniature marshmallows over crust. Return to oven for 3 more minutes until puffy. Do not brown. Mix the topping ingredients in saucepan and allow to chips to melt. Set aside. Spread 2 cups salted peanuts over marshmallows. Pour butterscotch sauce over nuts. Cool and cut into squares.
